Where women's health meets the conversation you've been putting off.
Relaxed, honest events about pelvic floors, leaks and everything in between, led by a nurse who has heard it all. Pick your topic, bring a friend and book your seat.

Upcoming events
Each event is designed for a particular stage of life or symptom, so you can come to the one that speaks to you, or bring along the friend who has been quietly wondering the same thing. Tickets are £12 and include coffee and cake, and we keep the groups small and friendly, usually between 15 and 30 people depending on the venue.
New dates are on their way, so join the Holora newsletter to hear about them first.

From booking your seat to heading home with answers, here is what to expect.
Find your event
Each event is built around one topic and one group of women, from leaks and postnatal recovery to prolapse, so pick the one that speaks to you, or the one you have been quietly googling at midnight.
Book your seat
Tickets are £12 through Eventbrite and include coffee and cake. If you are able to, you can add a pay it forward contribution that helps another woman access specialist support.
Pull up a chair
You will sit at a small table with no slides and no lectures, while Emily, a registered nurse who has heard it all, leads an honest conversation that involves far more laughing than squirming.
Leave knowing more
You will head home understanding what is common, what is treatable and what is worth getting checked, and if you would like personal support afterwards, the Holora team are only a message away.
Nothing down there is too weird to talk about
Fannies & Flapjacks started from a simple idea, which is that women put up with far too much because nobody ever made it easy to ask. So we take the questions people usually save for a whispered chat in the school car park, or never ask at all, and talk about them openly over coffee and cake, with clinical knowledge underneath and plenty of laughter on top. You will leave knowing more about your body, what is common but treatable, and where to go if you would like more support.
Nothing is too weird, nothing is too awkward, and nobody will ask you to share anything you would rather keep to yourself.

More topics in the series
These topics are part of the series too, and if you would love one of them in your area, let us know and we will look at adding it to the calendar.
Key in the door and running to the loo: Why your bladder sometimes panics on the doorstep, and how the nervous system plays a bigger part than most people realise.
Mind the gap: What a tummy gap after pregnancy really means, and why the advice goes far beyond being told to avoid crunches.
Hot, tired and leaking: the unglamorous middle: Menopause, your pelvic floor, your bladder and your energy, and what you can do about all of it.
Your vulva is not weird: A celebration of how wonderfully varied bodies are, and the anatomy lesson most of us never got at school.
Where did my libido go?: A warm, open conversation about desire, hormones, stress and everything else that quietly gets in the way.
Real events, real laughter

Mind the flap... strike a pose

Want a private event for your members or employees?
We bring the same relaxed, nurse led two hour workshop to your group, whether that is a community group, a gym full of members or a team at work, for anything from a handful of women up to around 100. You can choose our flagship workshop, which is designed for every woman whatever her age or stage of life, or pick a topic from the series that fits your group best.
A relaxed, fun and deeply informative women's health social with proper laughs and myth busting, in two parts.
Part one: Your Vulva Is Not Weird
What's normal, what's not, and the things about our own bodies that most of us were simply never taught.
Part two: It Takes a Village (to run a pelvic floor)
How the pelvic floor really works, and why everything from breathing and stress to sleep and exercise has a say in how it behaves.
Led by Emily, Registered Nurse and Women's Health and Strength Coach
Same workshop, fairly priced
It is the same session wherever we run it, so a community group never gets a watered down version and every organisation gets the full experience. We simply price it according to who is hosting, and 25% of profits funds free sessions and care for women in our community.
Charities and community groups
For charities, WIs, parent groups and community organisations. Thanks to the Holora Fund, we can offer free sessions to groups without a budget, and groups who are able to contribute £80 help us keep that going for others. Free places are offered as the fund allows, so get in touch early.

The Holora Fund
The Holora Fund makes pelvic health education and care available to women who could not otherwise afford it. 25% of profits from our partnerships with organisations and employers goes into the fund, alongside pay it forward contributions from our event tickets, so the organisations that can pay, help those that cannot.
What the fund pays for
Free Fannies & Flapjacks workshops for charities and community groups

Concession rates on studio gym memberships

Free Mummy MOTs
The Holora Fund is a ring fenced budget within Holora Health Ltd, and we publish a summary of money in and care funded every year.
Your questions, answered
Your £12 ticket includes a two hour event with Emily, coffee and cake, and a chance to ask all the questions you have been saving up. We keep groups to between 15 and 30 people, so it always feels relaxed and never like a lecture hall.
Pull up a chair and leave the embarrassment at the door.
